This luxurious well-being retreat is for you if you would like to learn tools you can use in everyday life that can instantly calm your mind and nerves and jumpstart your performance. ⁠

There is nothing more essential to our health and well-being than breathing. Yet, as a species, humans have lost the ability to breathe correctly, according to James Nestor, the author of "BREATH". ⁠Living in a fast-paced world, we easily forget that we have access to these powerful tools. 

Using the breath, you can regulate your nervous system, putting you into an instant calm state.⁠


Being under stress and worry reduces our productivity, problem-solving ability, and creativity. We lose our capacity for clear and quick decision making, and we are not fully present with those around us. ⁠

I wish I had known these simple tools during my 21-year corporate career. ⁠

 

Throughout the weekend, we will be exploring and experiencing the positive impacts of mindfulnessbreathworkcold therapy, sound healing and yoga. At the end of the weekend, you will feel rejuvenated and clear, and you will take with you the knowledge on how to incorporate these tools into your everyday life.    

Take some time out for yourself at Waverley Estate, which is tucked away on private grounds and a 1-hour scenic drive from Adelaide. The Estate’s charming history, Georgian stone buildings, tasteful French provincial decor, traditional tennis court and private pool evoke all the feels of a luxury getaway. Indulge your senses in the sun-drenched trees and lush coastal gardens, which immediately set the ambience for a weekend of rest, rejuvenation and connections. You may even be making some new friends.

For me, personal and professional well-being go hand in hand! Whatever is going on at home can impact our work and vice versa. Focusing on recharging your batteries will positively impact all areas of your life and as Brené Brown says, “who we are is how we lead”. I have put my twist on it “who we are is how we show up”, and I prefer the version of me that is light, calm, clear and present.

Let experienced breathwork coach, Kym Burls, (re)introduce you to your breath and the powerful connection it creates between your body and mind. With his passion for and in-depth knowledge of all things breathwork, you'll leave the weekend with the 'what', 'how' and more importantly your own 'why'.

HILL STREET YOGA 

Let go, relax and unwind on a deeper level with Kellie’s Yoga & mindfulness practices. You’ll be treated to two sessions, catering for the novice to the practising yogi. 

HARMONIC ESSENCE 

Let Chris take you on a journey of sound and total relaxation during a one-hour sound bath.

 

REAL FOOD LIFE

Enjoy three days of wholesome and nourishing food. Sarah finds joy in seeing people connect over a shared healthy meal. Her passion for meal creation makes her come alive—prepare your tastebuds for culinary delight!

Your gorgeous accommodation options

 Waverley Estate provides multiple accommodation types across six buildings. Retreat on your own or share a room.
Choose rustic vibes or modern-day elegance. It’s your retreat, so make it what you wish!

Prices include all meals, wine (if you like) and activities, and depend on the accommodation type you choose. Tea and other refreshments will be available throughout the weekend. Dietary requiremtns will be catered for.
